LASTRADA's™ AASHTO T209 and T166 for Accredited Labs

Welcome to LASTRADA’s simple yet powerful solution for T209/T166. Say goodbye to the time-consuming process of manually performing calculations, maintaining multiple spreadsheets for local reporting standards, and constantly updating spreadsheets to accommodate DOT modifications to the AASHTO standard. Our technology handles T209/T166 calculations and generates reports that comply with local and DOT standards, saving you time and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. In this Lightning Demo, I will show you the simple LASTRADA T209/T166 compliant workflow.

AASHTO T209

LASTRADA's AASHTO T209 data entry grid calculates Gmm results per the standard. LASTRADA also supports common DOT modifications to the test standard. For example, LASTRADA can store a Gmm dry back correction developed during mix design and present that value during testing when appropriate.

AASHTO T166

LASTRADA's AASHTO T166 test data entry grid is also designed to meet that standard. This LASTRADA test supports the immersion weighing, dimensional, and vacuum sealing methods. LASTRADA's declaration stores a re-heat correction when required.

Welcome to LASTRADA's simple yet powerful solution for AASHTO T209 and T166 Gmm and Gmb. Say goodbye to the time-consuming process of manually performing calculations, maintaining multiple spreadsheets for local reporting standards, and constantly updating spreadsheets to accommodate DOT modifications to the AASHTO standard. In this Lightning Demo, I'm going to show you LASTRADA's simple yet powerful AASHTO T209 and T166 workflow. Let's start with AASHTO T209 maximum theoretical specific gravity Gmm. The Gmm test is available both in the Mix Design and the Asphalt QC module. Here it is in the Asphalt QC module. The Gmm test supports multiple methods for determining the maximum theoretical specific gravity the most common are immersion weighing and the pycnometer method. You can perform a dry-back correction for absorptive aggregates for each test or as required. In some states, you can perform a dry vac correction at Mix Design time and pull it in from the declaration. Like LASTRADA's AASHTO T209 compliant test, LASTRADA's AASHTO T166 Gmb test supports multiple methods for determining bulk-specific gravity of compacted samples. They include immersion weighing Corelok and dimensional. If you choose Corelok, LASTRADA will perform the bag corrections for you.

Some states require the AASHTO T166 method have a reheat correction established at mixed design time. If this is the case, that correction is established at the Mix Design stored in the Declaration and flows forward here into this test.
